It sinks instantly and since it is dry it takes a while for my goldfish to eat it. They are still smal so they were nibbling on it all at the same time for quite a while. Cory cats, carp, and crayfish all love it.

Cons

These wafers swell up quickly and become mushy. Because of this, i have to do way more maintenance on the tank and that defeats the purpose of buying this. These pellets are only good for clouding up your water.
