My eevee is 15 and we moved to a rural area where coyotes roam. My cat pees a lot, so it's very convenient that the pads absorb and hold 90% of the pee for 5-7 days. I have a very large dog who will be on steroids long term.

I love how well it grips to the floor. It also prevents pup from chewing on carpet when inside pen. Mat seems well made, not flimsy.

The pad width is more than ample to go across the seat and will hang to the floor of the car. Then pull the sheet through the underwside of the head rest to help keep the back of the sheet snug. For as thin as it is, it absorbs quite a bit.

Cons

The black paws look like poop from a distance. I am so dissatisfied because the 10k reviews raved about no leaks and great absorbency. Urine spreads under my 15lb dogs paws then she tracks the urine through the house.

This pad is useless and pointless if the pee soaks right through, and then pours all over my floor! A normal crib/mattress pad works better. The puppies wrinkle it all up, it doesn't lay flat, it isn't absorbent.

They protect the floors and textured rubber keep them in place i tripped over another pad brand that slid around and broke my foot

The price is much less than the other whelping pads i have from the past

Other similar pads dont have traction beads and easily slide around when a person moves on the bed
