Pros

Comes with 2 extra fuses. Uses a 220/240 surge protector to operate the on/off functionality of this device.

It’s a basic step down auto transformer, with no frills, but so far so good. This fills in the gap. Works like a charm.

The transformer was reassembled using a lock washer between the shell and the lug. No issue with popping circuit breaks either. Very quiet.

Cons

There is, imho, no way this would ever pass even a cursory inspection. The transformer part still works, but the connection for the 110v appliance oar loose and the appliance doesn't get any power. Not convenient for travel.

Not saying it won’t work but be aware of it’s limitations. Got charged a restocking fee even though the transformer was broken on arrival. Can't return for it was shipped out already.

Fast shipping all round very very good

I ended up cutting it off and replacing with the correct north american nema 615 plug i needed

I like the build quality of the unit however i am not happy about the european plug

Competitiveness

It helps me to operate a 110v floor cleaner 700w with no issue

I got the 500w model and that is good for devices consuming 1w 400w in total

It has an audible hum as compared to my 1000w step down from the same manufacturer but thats to be expected
