Likewise i have two different brushes i use one doesnt really fit the hooks at all i could probably get it in if i forced it but i have a feeling the small metal hooks would snap like a twig if i did and the other one i use doesnt fit in it comfortably kind of hanging limply

In my opinion this is not meant to hold a cartridge razor so it that is what you are looking for this isnt the stand for you

At first i found the razor falling out as others had mentioned

But if you are using a gillette fusion razor you have to manipulate the razor to get it to hang properly you have to force it down so that the grooves on the side of the razor are wedged in to keep it from falling through the hanger

We have had it for a couple years now and it has not tarnished faded or dimenshied from what we first got it
