Ive had this lid on the hydroflask for a year and 34 months before the hinges holding the cap to the top of the lid broke off

Overall its a fantastic lid and there is only one reason im taking off one star out of five its a bit difficult to clean

You have to make sure the rubber is places correctly on the inside

Fits perfectly doesnt leak handle is very sturdy and i love that you can still chug the water as i cant stand sippee cup or straw lids i like to be able to drink as much as i want without worrying about spilling like the wide mouth caps that came wthe hydroflasks plus they didnt hold up

The first i tried was a lid that used a built in plastic straw but it was just too much work getting the liquid flowing through the leak proof design

This is the perfect solution as the cap is unscrewed pressure is released screw it down and its leak proof
