Theere is even a nice groove cut at the same place as the front groove of the mac not great explanation i know but suffice to say that it in no way impedes you typing

So here are your answerersim using macbook pro 15 and its perfectly stable on the stand wont move at all while youre using the trackpad or typing a long email

If the mac is to be held by the rubber at the front it doesn’t sit that steady as if the bottom is uneven
