My monitor weighs a lot and although it was in weight spec range for the three mounts i tried prior none of them could hold it up

One note the clamp for the stand only opens 234 and when i got this i found it wouldnt open quite wide enough to clamp on my desk because of the metal frame that goes around the perimeter under the wood surface

So if youre handy and need more than 234 of clearance it can be done

If you debating which arm to go with there are tonsnot all are made out of aluminum which was my main reason for purchasing
