If you use sanding tools then you know how quickly the belts discs or sleeves clog up reducing the sanding capability

Its best to use it where the belt goes over the roller as the gaps between the grit are already opened up

It can only remove particles between the grit it cant remove meltedon plastic paint or adhesive

Does what it say however worth it as it makes abrasive material last an awful lot longer
