If you have a small chip on the dish you are using you will not get the normal vacum seal

The lids are a little strange to get used to relying on suction

Unlike cling film though it won’t cover a bowl for example if the food sticks up in the middle above the height of the rim and it only works if the container is level the seal being broken if the bowl or pan is tilted so that the contents reach the rim

Cleaning is easy as well either by normal washing up or in the dish washer
