These are very convenient but they more than doubles the time needed to poach an egg from 3 minutes to about 10 minutes and even if i grease the cups before hand the eggs still stick to them luckily they arent hard to clean

The only other way i had ever poached eggs was in an electric poacher that had been my moms back in the 70s

Hard to get out of water

The goodconvenient way to poach eggs reliablythe badthe egg can be difficult to clean off if not using any nonstick sprayusagei first tried without any nonstick cooking spray which resulted in the eggs sticking inside the cups

I suggest inverting the egg for placement on your plate and for sure if making something like eggs benedict as the bottom is rounded while the top will be flat

However the whole entire pan dedicated to only poached eggs is obnoxious

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Egg poachers worked great had to search internet for cooking directions though none included in packet with cups

It does help to put a little oil on them before using them otherwise the egg sticks to the silicone
