Pros
I've used sp's drives sporadically over the last 10 yrs. Have not had any failures or defects, so they seem to be an excellent option for the entry level. I keep picking up more because they are cheaper and faster than flash drives.
Took very little time to install. Had zero issues with install and sped up the console a bit. The only caution i have is to use magnetic screwdrivers when installing one. Only silly part is the cloning software registration process is very convoluted ... Read More
Cons
The drive cannot be seen using windows explorer, hence cannot be used. The warranty is just a joke, to get a replacement is about 1 month from the time of sending your ssd to manufacture. Pay a few bucks more and get a reliable ssd.
Go with name brand. It's clear their sellers don't stand behind their products. Buyer beware.
In the meantime i am off to purchase a new 1tb (name brand) ssd that hopefully proves to be more reliable.

I ordered 2 of these drives 1tb at the end of 2022 and they were all working well last month one of them decided not to work anymore first i tried to reach out to amazon but the information presented was not accurate on how to contact silicon power
