Hd collection offers a playable compromise to anyone who cannot get their hands on the ps2 originals. It is still perfectly playable and quite enjoyable. Silent hill 3 is a completely different kind of terrifying.

A week ago, i because obsessed with the second game. Silent hill 3 is the one i really enjoyed, and it's got awesome references to the two previous games before it.

This game is absolute garbage compared to the two titles it boasts 'hd' versions of. This isn't just bad; it's a travesty. I know it's because they want to make you evade and use the beef jerky (ugh), but it's not fun.

This product needs to be recalled and either outright canceled or actually put back in the oven to finish baking.

The game's frame rate stutters constantly. The way the aspect ratio change is handled in the fmvs is inconsistent and often introduces noticeable stretching. The lip syncing is way off. Sound issues where the sample rate freaks out.

Do not support konami, incompetent developers, and amateur game journalists by purchasing this game. Downpour feels like an unfinished product. Hulett says konami had to rip textures and sound straight from the original discs and import them in.

Most of the textures and visuals were not reworked for hd. Missing textures and crackling audio was just the tip of the iceberg. Faint footsteps with lack of any music is just wrong and changes the mood.
