I looked at keyboards on amazon for a couple of days trying to find something that was silent or close to silent

I also have an apple wireless keyboard with the chiclet style keys and that is almost completely silent but it has a horrible feel for a touch typist and the bluetooth connection drops constantly

The reviews were often contradictory or what were called silent keyboards were the new laptop style keyboards with short keys that give virtually no feedback

The only cons to this keyboard for me a mac user is the same as every other nonapple manufacturer keyboard the os x shortcut keys are not coded to work with the function keys on this keyboard but you can map the keys under system preferences

It seems like the a key is a little inconsistent in how hard i have to hit it to record the character sometimes it is really sensitive and i dont even feel the key pressing down and sometimes i have to press harder than expected
