Amazon has comparably priced spring mattresses in 8 inch and thicker spring probably is more comfortable for most but the thinnest spring ones seem much worse quality than the thicker

Dog slides in too i’m not sure how we fit but also the day bed has no edges so maybe it’s the fact we can hang pf of it
