Pros

It's still the most comfortable mattress ever with just the right mix of support and softness. It is definitely firmer than our old saggy mattress. The new one is very firm by comparison but i believe it will get softer with time.

This thing really is a no frills, just the neccesities, for a great night's sleep. It has a medium firm spring and cushion combo.

Cons

Heavyweight, no cushioning or cotton on the top, spring coils jabbing as you lay. It is the most uncomfortable, painful mattress i have ever slept on. Our guests that have used this mattress are not even close to being overweight.

This is a wonderful replacement for her icomfort bed

I can always replace an egg crate or gel topper more cheaply than the foundation of a good innerspring mattress
