Cons

The zoom function is the opposite of every single lens i've used for 40 years. Its backwards from every single tamron, every minolta lens, every sony lens. Flat out stopped working, and even made the camera malfunction.

The lens is tact sharp and a bargain at half the price of the sony

Im baffled by all the first party sony options that are affordable but start at f4 or you can start paying up to 2000 for that f2

Great value it offers significant savings compared to the sony gmaster series especially when comparing image quality to price

Compared to the tamron 2875mm lens the sigma 2470mm lens offers a wider zoom range and a faster constant aperture

I had the canon 1855 kit lens and hated it traded to a tamron 1750 f2
