Pros

The images are macros i took the night i got it and couldn't sleep! The colors are beautiful and the sharpness is excellent. The body is so solidly constructed.

The only downside to this lens is that it’s heavy. I do a lot of hiking/backpacking, and it is a heavy lens. It is a bit heavy but still quite manageable.

Slight dust inside lense. Only thing is you have to get used to zoom ring goes opposite way of dobby lenses. Not too huge, since it expands when it zooms.

Cons

The zoom function is the opposite of every single lens i've used for 40 years. Its backwards from every single tamron lens, every minolta lens. Flat out stopped working, and even made the camera malfunction.
