The magnification is clear out to around x23 then becomes slightly fuzzy

However i have shot it at maximum magnification and by tweaking the parallax knob it is certainly usable

It is far too large and heavy for a hunting rifle and despite the 50mm objective and 30mm tube the light transmission is about on par with similar 1 inch tubes

The only problem i ran into was near sundown the eye placement got iffy to the point it nearly became unusable but seeing as the sun was at our backs and glaring directly into the ocular this seemed like a reasonable issue
