Pros

To use, clear the weapon and install an unloaded magazine. Install the batteries and lock on the cap of the bore sighter. Remember to remove the batteries when finished as there is no on-off switch.

When using this item correctly, it is completely accurate! Works great. They seem to be very consistent in quality and accuracy. Hopefully go to the range this weekend and give it a trial run.

Cons

It seems that the foresight does not seat in the barrel as snugly as it needs to. It would work for a revolver (unless it's break-action) or another fixed-barrel firearm chambered for. Tried to use it in an ati 1911 45 cal.

It is really unethical of sightmark not to have this warning in big red letters in the description. Considering what the purpose of this device is, this is pretty egregious. Completely useless for the advertised purpose.

Pre-calibrated isn't true with this particular boresight laser. The cartridge is loose in the barrel and the laser dot is about 10-12 away from the center at 20 yards.
