Pros

Worked like a champ. Amazon, walmart, basspro ect. Will compensate you for your ideas.

Used on two different rifles. Excellent dot visibility on shadowed target under 50 yds. Use mild strength loctite (222 or 242) on rail screws and properly torque them. Never had time to take my rifle out to the range after a rebuild.

Used to boresight and adjust windage on front sight of an m1 garand and a 1903 springfield. Once it's done then this bore sight makes for one of the fastest bore sights available. Works as advertised.

Cons

Worst bore sight ever. Wasted too many bullets. Does not fit a 270.

In the breech it comes out as a faint red glow. Problem is its not the battery. Cartridge has a defect that when in the chamber it gets distorted. The laser light that is being projected is not concentric to the brass casing.
