Packaging/appearance
It was very easy to program and i had the sideclick ready in less than 5 minutes
Then you easily snap the clipped remote onto the sideclick
The clips are solid we dropped them and the roku did not come out of the clip
Competitiveness
Ive had a firetv since it first became available and i dont know how ive managed without the sideclick remote
Much simpler than the 3 remotes prior
This remote is awesome flawlessly integrates with a firetv voice remote cannot even tell there are 2 separate remotes
My setup includes a samsung 55 uhdtv a sony soundbar ct660 and an xbox one

First of all besides batteries instructions and the sideclick remote itself the package comes with clips for both the fire tv voice remote and the earlier nonvoice remote

Nothing in the package makes clear which clip is for which remote so you have to see which fits your chosen remote

Instead of a whole new sideclick and another round of remote programming all you need is a clip for that device and youre in business

One note is that the apple tv model is silver so if your sideclick is from another device it isnt going to match

Speaking of looks wow the sideclick looks like it was supposed to be part of the amazon fire remote from the first day

The fit is better than depicted in the picture that shows a linear gap between the sideclick remote and the clip
