Spoiler alert this is a novel a work of fiction and has nothing much to do with the life of gautama buddha whose real name was siddhartha although the character of buddha does appear in the story

Like i mentioned earlier the titular siddhartha is not gautama buddha but a different prince a wannabe one who knows everything a seeker a samana then a common man with the usual sorrows of life then an enlightened soul then an unintentional teacher then all of them at the same time
