Even more if you like to develop your civ in complete isolation even on super hard you can create a huge civ way in the middle of the ocean and because you are super specialized in water the pc will send wave after wave of normal troops against you and you can easily take them out bc youll have a single overriding water specialization

Basically you can recreate atlantis and no one can threaten you its really neat being able to create a massive water based civ
