While the additional usbc is not a big deal on the 15 macbook pro it would be incredibly helpful on the one usbc port 12 macbook or the two usbc non touch bar 13

I also recommend sicotools service that is because i was bought 16pcs 8 in 1 usb c hub in total last month but when i give they to my employees one of my employees found his hub cannot recognized his mbc then i contact with sicotool service they send me a new one immediately after they learn about our details and told me to contact them freely when we have any question or problems

Only one cable into my mbp the rest all connected to the hub

There is space for it on the hub and it works fine note if you want to connect a 2nd display you have to plug it directly into a 2nd usbc port on your mbp but that is a usbc design restriction and nothing to do with the hub
