    This handheld mic is similar in performance to the beta 87 with the feeling of autocompression as you sing but if you’ve got any power to your voice the 87 exhibits a “sizzle” in the upper mids that i find unpleasant

    Most people know with the windscreen on the microphone on vocals anything that doesnt produce low end below a hundred hz needs to have the low filter engaged on each channel

    I was currently using an audix om5 which is a great all round microphone but wanted to gain some clarity back in vocal presence
