Pros
Clear, bright but without any harshness. Great sound with a lot of gain before feedback. Build quality is superb.
The xlr male connector seems good. Perfect for mic'ing guitar amplifiers, snare drums or other high volume sources. Great mic for snares and timbales.
Sennheiser beta 57a is a much better mic than a standard sm-57. It's several db more sensitive than the sm57. I have an old sm57 (as does everybody else in the world) but now, drum roll please (prob mic'd with a '57 as well), i have the beta 57a.
The mic sounds great. A fuller, rounder 'glissen' to acoustic guitars without much boomy-ness and coloration. Loving this thing for recording my telecaster through my fender princeton amp.

The microphone has more bass then my headset microphone which is not a benefit since my voice is a baritone anyways

So far when practicing alone my snare is being picked up by the microphone whereas before using the headset it was not
