Pros

The shower chair fits the bill for my husband. The chair is a life saver for him. A big thank you to the makers of this chair.

The padding is great, and a major reason i chose this model. The armrests are sturdy and stable and the foam cushioning is a huge improvement. The height is adjustable and the padded handbars are too!

The bolts use a 5 mm metric allen wrench socket, nut need socket or i just secured then with a vice grip to keep them from turning. Lots of open nooks & crannies.

As we age falling is bad and many times deadly and this takes away all of that fear. Got this for my fragile 87 year old mother in law. Together, me shower becomes an inviting,safe place!

Cons

A nightmare to assemble and impossible to fully assemble. The width dimensions of the feet show 17in on diagram and they are not arm rests. The chair doesn't fit in our tub! It had nkthk g but a padded seat & it's flimsy to boot.

I have no usable thumbs so depressing both of the little buttons enough to maneuver them into the holes was a major challenge

Price

It does cost more than the cheap plastic ones but it is worth every penny to have the added comfort and safety

I’m happy i spent the money for this and my occupational therapist said it’s one of the best she’s seen

The money you spend on this chair is well worth it

My only complaint is there is a small tear in the seat back for 100 plus dollar chair i was expecting perfect
