It comes with foam padding, as well as felt lining on one side of the safe and the trigger blocks. It has ample predrilled / stamped holes all over, and they provide different additional parts.

Changing the 4 digit combination was not hard. It works fine w/ the changed password. I punch the combo in every few days just for the muscle memory, since it’s not an edc. Ya don’t wanna struggle for the code when the boogie man shows up.

The intent is to provide me with reasonable quick access to the gun in an emergency, while keeping it safe and secure if any curious kids somehow came upon it. Seems quite secure, and well made.

The new lock has more * and a flip type of latch. This type is almost foolproof.

Shot lock has a qc issue. The lock works great when set to the factory combination and inconsistently when set. Phillips screw on cover is stripped right out of box. This lock is not a good lock, and was very easily raked open.

It's an easy way to store your long rifle or shotgun, but it's no safe and doesn't fit everything. This item is a joke. Super unsafe.
