The elastic is very wide, sewn in, and requires a heavy hand to stretch. Impossible sizing with this kind of cheap construction. Very disappointed.

I thought the waistband was a bit tight and i might have gone up a size if i had tried it on first

Be sure to order at least two sizes larger than your normal size
