Pros
Will be installing outfeed table asap. Works great. Took a few hours to set up and tune up. Update to the no hardware review.
It's powerful enough for cross cutting 3 thick maple. Ease of installing and removing the riving knife/blade guard.
The saw is well built, not flimsy. The wheels roll smoothly, although it can be slightly tippy (because there are only 3, not 4) while rolling. It is accurate and i like the way it locks. The thin red cursor is easy to line up with the scale.
Fence was a perfect 90 degrees, caste iron top was perfectly flat, dust collection is great. Use a straightedge as necessary, but ignore the slope of the rest of the wing for now. Makes it easy to add fence * and extensions. Only downside is a two pie... Read More

Assembly was easy and minimal miner adjustments to blade fence and angle now cuts very accurately
Easy to assemble the fit finish is on point
I pressed ithe button not realizing it had a lot of resistance and it wouldn’t start
A fix to both of these would be a beefier steel steel rear rail and cast iron extensions
Price
This is an excellent value saw even sweeter that it was on sale and i got a deal on freight
But this would probably drive the price of the saw up
Not a huge deal but if you want the best dust collection you need the motor plate screwed in but then you cant cut more than 334

Packaging/appearance
Packaging was excellent setup was straight forward and the accuracy is very good
Arrived as square flat and true as i can measure with ordinary cabinetmaking tools
It arrived soundly crated with all pieces intact
Competitiveness
I couldnt ask for better customer service from both northern tools and the manufacturer as for a review
But this new shop fox is like a caddy compared to my old beat up pickup truck
