I also own the shock doctor carbon fiber flex cup and its not as comfortable as this

These cups can be left in jock pant and washed in the machine without changing shape

This cup definitely isnt going to deform from an impact like plastic ones will but you will want to wear it under loose fitting clothes because the shape isnt as flat as other plastic cups

Funny enough since ive purchase it the kicks seem to be hitting the pads squarely more often so no real impact analysis at this point

My son plays little league as well as travel and now that hes catching for 12 13 year olds he also has to be wary of being hit by the bat or anything

After the first few minutes you completely forget you are wearing this cup no matter what sportwarm up exercise you are doing

I am not a fan of compression shorts because they dont hold the cup tightly in place so ymmv if you wear this cup in compression shorts rather than a jock
