The itemtook it out of the box plugged in the usb receiver put an aa battery in the mouse and it worked straight away no need to install anything

To add my review is completely honest and genuine and the fact that i received the product for a discounted price has not influenced my review i would happily pay the asking price for this item and my review would be the same

I have been looking for a new wireless mouse as my kids have trashed 2 wired ones in a matter of months and thought that wireless would be the way to go as it would always seem to be the wire coming loose or breaking completely that led to the breakage of the whole thing

It came in the standard amazon brown cardboard packaging which encased another smaller manufacturer cardboard box which contained the wireless mouse and instructions

The click is certainly quieter but still audible i say this from the point of view that i am stone deaf in my right ear and the mouse is located to my right but the morse code tapping has stopped
