The side door is insulated and so after tracing the vent oval onto the door and cutting through the panel and insulation we simply cut screening to fit over the vent tube and pushed the screened vent tube into the doors hole

We then went to the outside of the door and tacked more screen to the outside of the door infront of the hole so that bugs could not enter the door frame by building nests or cones in the door hole we have a lot of wasps and carpenter bees in our yard here in florida

With screen on the outside of the door and screen on the inside of the door hole attached to the vent tube we plugged the machine into an outlet and waited for cooling

Within 20 minutes the room was sooooo much better and within the hour the whole room was 74 degrees

It works well my only issues are the hose is very short and i’m not able to keep the unit on the floor and it says self evaporating and it filled and i had to empty it
