Pros
Derailleurs are hard to come by with the * of biking during the pandemic, especially 8s and 9s derailleurs. A step up from the tourney line and well worth the extra couple of bucks. I'm sure it's the oem, and therefore would recommend it to a friend.

Best part is now my bike rides like new. And it’s shiny clean too… at least for now. This version is black in the area that gets the most dirty. The new one is so shiny.
Cons
Silver derailleur is a 6-speed, not a 5-speed. Not compatible with 1x1 gear ratio. No *, just a jump. Manufacturer, what's your warranty?

My new bike came with a shimano tourney which felt flimsy and required me turn nearly to the next gear to shift
