My problem is that i have a garmin 2699lmt and this unit just fits it it was made for a 7 unit when i touch the unit the visor falls off and i have to play around to get it back on

The only difficulty was the back side of the clip had to be modified to operate the power switch a very minor problem

I have my gps on a dash mounted bag that sometimes does slide a little but this shield does stay on

Well worth the price because before the shield the gps was impossible to see the display in daytime sun

The navigation units should come with these since there is no way to get a snug fit with a onesizefitsall type of solution
