However this is definitely not a longlasting toy since the chrome finish began rubbing off after about one year and its motor became a bit louder as it wore down

The silver color disappears like it is chipping off however the color does not seem to be on the exterior of the vibrator like you cant peel it off or even sand it not that i tried
