Pros

These are great durable dog beds but over the years, the manufacturer has been going overboard with the polyester stuffing. The sherpa seems durable, but the stuffing does migrate around. The bed is super plush and feels very sturdy.

The answer to both is a resounding yes! My pup sleeps in it every night!

The best part about the bed is because the boarder is so tall he is able to snuggle up to the inside of it. It’s big for him, but he likes to spread out and curl up so it works perfectly.

My dog, charlie, is a black lab mix that weighed about 45 pounds when i got him and now weighs 55 pounds. For size reference, the dog in the pic is an ~8mo old pit bull about 43 solid pounds.

Cons

The bottom of the bed is itchy. The inside stuffing is poor quality and doesn’t hold its shape. It takes forever to dry, and when i left it was still damp. After 1 week she now hates the bed and can't get comfortable bc the insides have flattened out....  Read More

The material the bed is made of is not durable, very thin. The sherpa polyblend is very poor quality. The bottom is flimsy and super fragile!

Quality

The bed is bigger than expected so my dog was extremely happy.

Went with the 52 for my 84 pound full sized rough collie.

Most dog beds of this size and quality will run you at least $60 or more.

Packaging/appearance

He's been laying in it since i took it out of the box.

Competitiveness

I have a 75lb pit mix and he fits very well in the bed (pic attached shows bed on top of another dog bed-he's only slightly spoiled).

We have a 2yr old staffie mix who's definitely still a puppy, and a 15yr old mini dachsund whose well into retirement.

That’s one of the main reasons we purchased it.

When i first got this it must’ve been overstuffed because it was like a balloon filled with stuffing.

He played in it, digging in and biting very aggressively (while making cute sounds).

I thought he would rip the bed, but it seems to hold up very well and still not a rip, not a hole.
