The mat has small suction cups on the bottom that securely adhere to the bathtub. It sticks to our tub excellently. No issues with slipping or curling.

I'm not sure about the other reviews and was hesitant about buying it. It has better suction then some of the more expensive smaller ones. This one is absolutely perfect and i have a 300 pound grandson not a baby!

It literally unsticks from the bath. Does not stick to tub and just floated in the water. Soap scum and residue tend to cling to its surface, making it look dirty and unattractive even after thorough cleaning efforts.

Despite being marketed as a non-slip mat, this product fails miserably in providing any real grip. The mat feels cheap and flimsy. They provide no suction and are slippery.
