Pros & Cons

Pros

Excellent stone for machete sharpening, very aggressive metal removal. I suggest the manufacturer supply a holster with a belt loop that can hold water for storage of the stone between sharpening sessions.

Cons

The abrasive has a weak binder. More material is removed from the stone than from the blade. Norton sharpening products are generally top notch, but they dropped the ball with this stone.

Quality

This is another must have with the “puck” for touch ups

I like this sharpener with the curved shape

Competitiveness

Such a sheath would only cost norton a dollar to make but the value to customers would make a perfect set
