Cons
This item was advertised as a 6 pack of sharkbite fittings. Not so. They easily leak. The leaks are usually due to the condition of the pipe end.

Easy to install and very solid connection
I have some in place for 15 years and they have never leaked great stuff
The leaksfailures that i have seen with these are usually due to the condition of the pipe end at the time of install
After my first cut i took a lighter and heated the end for 2 seconds flattened and redid the debur and smoothtaper
Price
My only complaint is that they are pricey
The shark bite fittings are pricey for sure

Had a small leak in the threaded portion but you can turn these things even after they are installed

Im not a plumber and although these shark bite fittings really like the pex lines ive seen them used with copper lines for years

Some failures were caused by the pipeassembly shifting out of line with fitting or the pipe was installed at an angle leaving a gap on one side of the oring seal

I used a hand file and some wetdry 220grit abrasive paper to get the copper in a readytoattach condition

When i replaced water heatertank i had to cut the copper pipe i had no easycheap way to diy with copper pipe until i was told of this fitting

For someone who cant solder worth a damn these can make anyone a do it yourself plumber
