It cuts clean and it cuts square. It takes a little bit of elbow grease to cut through a piece of pex. Now i have a secure hose bib, attached to my wall, and it doesn't leak. Perfect and must have tool for sharkbite and pex tubing.

The sharkbite cutter is the worst product i have ever purchased. It deserves a zero rating. This product is junk.

Anyone who says this is good is most likely a novice and has never actually used a good tool before. I'm surprised they would allow the sb logo on this tool. Ordering something else with more metal in its construction.

Used it today, can't cut cleanly or square. Blade itself is flimsy and you can see the failed attempt to sharpen it at the factory.

Cutter blade shifts out as i cut pex-b, no matter how careful i am. It deflects as it passes thru the material which results in an uneven cut. It takes an immense amount of pressure to cause it to cut, and when it does, it leaves a pinched line.

The tubing cutter squishes the 1/2 inch tubing to an oblong shape. It flattens to a damaged state any pex tubing placed in it. Needless to say the tube was crushed beyond salvaging.
