Mine came packed in an oversized box that was not original packaging, was missing a couple screws, and had some scratches on it.
Came slightly loose in the packaging but no scratches or dents.

The mdf has a thick plastic coating that's resistant to scratches and it's not just a paper sticker like other cheap desks.
