For the raclette pedants out there we know that the top surface of the machine is really only for keeping the potatoes hot and that cooking meat on top is a foreign corruption of the tradition but it makes for a much more interesting meal

We havent tried the pancake side of the griddle yet but youd definitely have to clean the griddle thoroughly before turning it over after cooking meat otherwise the residue would burn horribly weld itself permanently to the griddle and smell awful

Having been introduced this this way of dining in austria we just had to get one
