I had just ruined a brand new stainless steel pan by preheating it too long and pouring oil onto it which immediately burst into smoke and left terrible oil burns on the pan

I generally use comet cleanser but it was useless for a burned pot

Well it seems to be identical to any other powdered cleanser not worse not better

I still had to take a wire brush to the pot as the soaking trick with cleanser with vinegar and other recipes was all complete nonsense
