Yes i attempted to return the mattress however the store had conveniently went out of business

The only thing i dont like aside from the little pieces of the mattress occasionally coming out is the fact that the mattress protector that comes with this is not a full zip

We never did notice any chemical odor perhaps because it arrived in an unsealed bag
