He can have sufficient lead for him to roam some but the leash will retract quickly upon his return on command

It also does not tangle easily and when it retracts it flattens back out so its not in a knot

Its a dog leash so there isnt much mechanics to it

So if the dog sprints forward the leash doesnt snap so abruptly when it runs out
