Pros

Tuf-cote is the best anti- rust product i've ever used. Works great to protect your firearms as well. Great for keeping blade clean and rust free. Can be used to clean knives as well as firearms. Available www. Firearmdirect.

Durable cloth. Needs to have a ziplock-like closure. The resealable pouch is a strip of tape that you peel off and then fold over the package.

Removes moistue, fingerprints, and gunpowder residue. Leaves no greasy residue. Rejuvinate with mineral spirits of it drugs out.

Cons

If you tear the bag open, the force separates the zipper lock from the main packaging instead of just opening the zipper. The chemicals that are saturated into the cloth have a terrible smell that can't be sealed off. The stuff smells bad so don't dri...  Read More

Theres nothing to dislike about this product

I wasnt sure what i was getting with this product but having received it and used it over the last few months im very satisfied

Afterthought this product works just as effectively on firearms and fishing reels

I applied some 3 in 1 on some of the movable pieces after wiping them down with the tuf cloth

Packaging/appearance

It is good to keep it in the plastic bag all of the time

They use some type of folding to a sticky back on the bag

Competitiveness

I put it in a ziplock bag and now it doesnt leak

Stays oiled along time as long as you put it in a ziplock bag and when it runs out just get the bottle of it and spray the rag ...  Read More

Nothing better for protecting metals without attracting dust

Ive been using outers silicone gun cloths on all of my firearms and knives since my military days to prevent rust and corrosion and experiencing very decent results the problem i ran into with that product is that the coating they apply never completely dries therefore for example when you place your knife back in its sheath especially if a leather sheath it removes or soaks up part of the silicone lubricant which you just applied

This product goes on easily a few quick swipes on the blade then dries within minutes leaving a dry microbonding shield to the blade itself

If it had a presslock closure at the top of the bag i must have had to destroy it to get the bag open because theres nothing there now

I use it at least once a week and theres been no sign at all of the cloth drying out

Edit i purchased the jar model and theres no difference in the cloth just that its kept in a container for better protection from drying out
