It does tend to go off sometimes when no one walk past well no one i can see anyway which is annoying at night as it wakes me up so i have to turn it off when i go to bed which rather defeats the purpose so only 4 stars

Ours is situated in the vestibule by the front door so it comes on when someone enters or leaves
