Pros

The collapsible design is perfect for traveling. They're still easy to take along, as long as you don't mash them into a backpack, sit on them, etc. They fold up into a plastic carrying case about the size of a holder for sunglasses.

They're a fantastic pair of mini-cans. If they still make these, they have my highest recommendation. The one with the wolfson dac is available at amazon for $39.

These headphones sound great and with a little eq on your ipod you can customize the sound for your genre. The joints still work and the ear pads are intact.

Really good sound, and comfort to go with it. With a mic. I am a classically trained musician so i'm picky about sound quality.

Cons

Ground wire repels solder, making repair impossible. Even cheap sonys have a 90-degree bend on the plug to avoid breaking the cord.

The have soft ear pads rather than inear plugs making them more comfortable as well as safer for your hearing

Not only do they fold up but they come with a faux leather carrying case which easily slips into a daypack purse or coat pocket
