Pros
The superflow large cutout definitely helps. There is a lot of flex in the seat that absorbs the shock from choppy road surfaces. The only thing i wished for is a little more gel cushioning.

Quality
I have been using selle italia saddles for several decades and have always found them to be comfortable and of the highest quality
So i have to admit i was a bit hesitant to see gel added to an already excellent design
I recently started riding my 12yo custom built road bike again and the saddle i bought all that time ago was garbage
Second i found that even after three hours i didnt get the usual hotspots on my contact points with the saddle

Worth every penny i spent on it

Im typically not a big fan of gel saddles for longer rides because added cushion tends to eventually lead to rubbing after a few hours

Ive always gone with the lean and minimal padding that allows little more than the butt bones to contact the saddle resulting in the least amount of rubbing elsewhere which is why the slr superflow is such a great saddle
